Dear people, Dead, Undead and other beings:

I thought I’d tell you some of V’s plans for the near future, since they are a lot. We’re having a little summer break until September, but before that we have almost finished our newest song. We are also going to record 1 or 2 more songs to make our Demo into an EP.

In September we want to play live as often as we can, so book us!
We might even have an EP-release-farewell-party/concert. Why farewell? Well, Vampyrica is now looking for a new lead singer, for I am leaving the band. The reasons are both personal and professional. I’m moving to the north of Germany to continue with my career in music journalism and sadly I don’t believe in long-distance relationships ;).

It’s surely not easy at all for me to go. I founded V and put my whole heart and blood into it, worked hard for this dream for almost 2 years. I’m not giving up on that, I’ll just have to find another way but it’s hard to put an end to a phase of life full of beautiful memories. Besides, both Alex’s, David and Johannes have become very good friends and music partners of mine, I’m really going to miss my vampires.

I will continue rehearsing with the guys until I go, so there might be two singers at one point, if V is lucky to find someone soon. So if you know a singer in Karlsruhe let us know.
